Statement of Beliefs

The following is a summary of our most important doctrinal beliefs.
Let us know if you have more questions.

The Bible

The Bible is the divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God.

The Trinity

The Godhead eternally exists in three persons: The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ was virgin born, fully human and fully divine, sinless, died on the cross for our sins, was raised from the dead on the third day and is coming again.

Sin

Man is by nature a sinner, deserving eternal separation from God. Through faith in Christ, men, women and children become new creations, enabled to live lives of righteousness.

Salvation

Salvation is a free gift bestowed by God's grace, received by faith alone in Christ's complete work of redemption.

Baptism

Baptism of a professed believer by immersion in water is symbolic of Christ's death, burial and resurrection.

The Church

The church is composed of all those who truly believe in Jesus Christ as Savior.

The Mission

The role the Church on earth is to fulfill the commands of Christ to love one another and make disciples of all nations.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit--which every believer receives at conversion--leads, guides, comforts, teaches and empowers believers.

Spiritual Gifts

Christians are endowed with spiritual gifts, enabling them to minister in the church.

Children

Children are dear to God. He invites them to enter into a personal relationship with him through faith in Christ, not wanting one precious child to be lost.
